Warren County High School FCCLA members attended the District 3 Fall Leadership Meeting and Competitive Events Training held on October 29th at J.F. Webb High School in Oxford, NC. The event was hosted by Mr. Derrick Fogg, District 3 FCCLA Advisor. Students attended workshops on FCCLA state projects and attended training workshops to assist with state competitive events. Taja Hobson, Devin Wynn and Kareema Higgs presented two sessions entitled “Stop The Violence”. This state project workshop consisted of information, facts, activities, and a student made power point presentation. The information presented focused on bullying, healthy dating relationships, domestic violence, and abuse. Mrs. Oney V. Jones presented training on Food Focus and Mr. Fogg presented the Advisor-To-Advisor training. Mr. Ernie Conner, Warren County CTE Director, was also in attendance and shared remarks with members and advisors.
