Agriculture Students Begin Hydroponics Project
Students in the Warren County High School Agricultural Education Advanced Studies class are conducting research this semester on growing vegetables hydroponically. Students are growing several varieties of lettuce to determine the most efficient product to grow. The lettuce will be grown without soil. These students are planting the seeds in an Oasis cube. The cubes will be transplanted into a special growing system in once the seeds have germinated and the plants have three to four small leaves. Celeste Frisbee, the Warren County Food Corps service member is assisting with this project.
