The Fish are Ready!

The CTE Department at Warren County High School has been growing Talipia in their Aquaponics tank. The Agriculture students grew these fish in a system that used the water from the fish to grow lettuce and other plants. In October the fish were ready to harvest. The department removed the fish from the tank and had them cleaned at L and J Fish Market in Henderson. Former CTE Teacher and current Director of Maintenance Michael Perry fried the fish and they were served at the CTE meeting of teachers. Check out pictures from the event.
