Dr. Anyanna Hamilton- Wallace and Vanessa Powell from the North Carolina Department of Transportation met the Warren County Schools Leadership Team to discuss their partnership. NCDOT has provided funds and resources to promote all aspects of transportation. The focus now is focusing on workforce development in the areas of highway construction. A proposal is being submitted to the NCDOT ro provide funding and programming for students in the Engineering and Construction Technology Academy students at Warren County High School.

Jonte Hawkins, Construction Technology Teacher, explains his CTE Advanced Studies Program to the DOT and how he works with Summitt Engineering and Design to provide instruction on highway construction and inspection.
