At least two Warren County High School CTE programs will partner with the North Carolina 4H, the Center for Environmental Farming Systems at North Carolina State University and the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention to bring a national program geared to teach children the importance of eating good healthy foods. A "Food Corps" member will work with students in the Agricultural Education and Family and Consumer Sciences Programs in the fall. On Tuesday, representatives from these organizations met with Ernie Conner, Director of Career and Technical Education, Tom Traylor, Agricultural Education Teacher and Derrick Fogg, Culinary Arts Teacher. They toured the facilities at Warren Co High School and discussed possible plans for the program.
