Michael Renne, Lynda O'Briant, and Teresa Matthews, Business and Information Technology Teachers from Asheboro City Schools visited Warren County Middle School on Monday, June 6th to take a close look at the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification program implemented at WCMS this year. The group met with Ernie Conner, Director of CTE, Debra Clayton, Pam Hawkins, and Andrea Dethmers, Business Teachers from WCMS and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the program and how successful the students had been during the first year of the program. They also took an IC3 practive test in each of the three areas to get an idea what the certification tests included.
