Students at Warren County High School participated in a tour and presentation at the Gregory Poole Equipment Company. The company was founded on April 1, 1951. With headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, Gregory Poole became the Cat construction equipment dealer for eastern North Carolina. Since that time, the company has expanded its operations to 19 locations providing sales, rental, parts and service for construction, agriculture, forestry, lift systems, marine power, on-highway transportation, compressed air and electric power generation equipment in the eastern parts of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
A program was presented to the group by Walt Warren, Corporate Recruiter and then led the tour. Students in this academy had a chance to look at careers in heavy equipment operation as well as other opportunities in the company! Below are a few pictures from the trip.
